2023 Scripps Ranch All-Stars
Let's get ready for the 2023 Scripps Ranch All-Star season!
This year, the Scripps Ranch Softball Association is planning to field teams in the 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U divisions.
All girls in the league who participated in at least 75% of their recreational games are encouraged to try-out for All-Stars. If your player is interested in applying for an All-Star team, please review the below commitment and fill out the interest form here
Now, on to a brief summary of the commitment:
Time commitment: All-Star play is a serious family commitment. It requires full availability for weeknight practices plus tournament play on six to eight weekends from mid-May to July. Below are the tournament dates that you should plan for.

Fees: All-Star fees of approx. $675 will be due when teams are announced. These fees will cover tournament entry fees, permits, and uniforms (jersey, pants, socks). If your team qualifies for the state tournament in Lancaster or regional tournaments elsewhere, families will be responsible to cover their own travel and lodging costs.
Volunteer commitment: ALL All-Star families must commit to volunteer shifts at our Scripps Ranch 30th Anniversary Tournament June 2nd-4th. Parents should plan to cover at least 4 volunteer hours per player. $75 of your registration fee will be reimbursed once your volunteer commitment has been completed.
Announcements: All-Star tryouts will take place on Monday, May 1st (12U & 10U) and Tuesday, May 2nd (14U & 8U). Teams will be announced during the week of May 1st. Practices will start the week of May 8. Uniform fittings will take place during assessments. More details to come!

Eligibility: *Eligible players must have participated in at least 75% of the team's recreational season games and practices.
*Per USA Softball rules and regulations, a player participating in more than one USA Softball recreation league must declare by April 15, 2023 which league they wish to be eligible for All-Star selection. Please communicate directly to [email protected] the player's name and the league they wish to be eligible for.
*Per USA Softball rules & regulations, any player participating on a team other than their recreation team (i.e. Travel) after March 31, 2023 is NOT eligible to play All-Stars. Players must cease playing outside of their recreation team by March 31, 2023 to be eligible for All-Stars. Please communicate directly to [email protected] the player's name and the division they wish to be eligible for.
*All players must submit a copy of their birth certificate and a recent photograph at the All-Star try-out.
NOTE: Filling out an interest form does not guarantee a spot on an All Star Team Roster. Participation in the Select program or on a prior year's All Star team also does not guarantee a spot on a 2023 All Star Team Roster.
